Hi flowers 🌸 welcome back to another blog post. Today, I wanted to share with you just some quick photography of outside my house this morning as this storm took place 😄
Does anyone else get this kind of snow where they are from?
Hi flowers 🌸 welcome back to another blog post. Over the years, I’ve loved to watch videos on this topic. Figured I would do one myself 😊
For the record before we start, I had an iPhone for 4 years before I switched to a galaxy. If you’re interested in knowing why I switched, I can do a seperate post for next week!
Buuuut.. here’s the layout of my phone 😊
My lock screen is very simple. The theme I’m currently using is from the CM launcher. It’s very relaxing, and it calms any anxiety I might have through the day.
When I unlock my phone, my first page on the homescreen is filled with my most used apps. The apps I use regularly and everyday are all the way at the bottom. My background is like a blurry teal because that’s my favorite color. 😁
Now to move on to my favorite apps. Right now my two favorite apps are we heart it, and I heart radio 😊 We heart it is such a great app for inspiration. Similiar to pinterest, you can inspire yourself with photographs, read articles and much more.
I heart radio is just how it sounds. A radio app! You can listen to radio, search for regular music, or catch up on podcasts. Here are the podcasts I currently follow 😸
And that wraps up this blog post! Thank you so much for reading flowers 🌸 If you have any suggestions, chat with me in the comments. See you all next week! 😊🌸
Hi flowers 🌸 Welcome to another blog post. One of my goals in 2018 that I set for myself was to relax, and take time to stop.
Stop what I’m doing, and take a few moments to find myself in the present moment. For some reason, I get lost a lot. Some days it feels like I’m running on auto pilot. But, the days that I just stop and find my peace of mind, those are the better days.
As people, we all want to be prouductive and we have a million things to do, so it’s hard to stop for a second. However, I encourage YOU .. If you are currently reading this blog post, then just stop for a second.
Find yourself in the present moment. What are you doing? How do you feel? Lay down with your thoughts and close your eyes for even ten minutes of your day. You’d be surprised how busy our brains are.. 😊
That’s it for today’s post 🌸 What helps you find your peace of mind? 😀
Hi flowers 🌸 welcome to another blog post. Today, I want to feel like I’ve helped people struggling with mental health. If you didn’t know, I struggle with anxiety. I have struggled with this almost all of my life, and it is a constant battle to bring calm to my environment. If you’re like me and you’re looking for ways to improve your mental health, then just keep reading 📖
1. Make your bed every morning.
This has been helping me every single morning recently. I find that it brings more perspective to my day, and making my bed allows my brain to de-clutter and start a day off fresh. Making your bed can not only organize your room, but organize your life. 🙂
2. Take time to meditate.
Meditation is always talked about as a way to reduce stress, but a lot of people never take time to do it. I encourage it greatly because even a 2-3 minute meditation can help you take a second to breathe, and realize you’re in a safe environment. I’ve been using the app Calm for a while now. It is a great mediation app. It allows you to listen to relaxing music, pick the right meditation for your mood, and even listen to stories at night designed for when you’re going to sleep. It’s available on both android and IOS. Take some time to bring calm to your environment. 🦋
3. Save up some change.
I know some people find it hard to save money but have you ever thought about saving change? It’s the easiest thing. All you have to do is find something to hold your change, and every time you come up with a penny, you stick it in your jar! That way when you’re having a day you are feeling down, or maybe a little anxious you can pull out your change and buy yourself a little treat! 🍪
That’s all I have for now flowers 🌸 Thank you so much for reading. The support I have received for this blog is seriously unbelievable. You are all the most amazing community. I’ll see you all next week!
Hi flowers 🌸 Welcome to another blog post. Today we are going to learn together as we recall some of the greatest words and phrases that represent happiness for me in french.
That wraps up this blog post. I hope you had some fun with me. I’ll see you all soon. Thanks for the support flower community 🌸
Hi flowers 🌸 Welcome to another blog post. I know it’s so cheesy to say that everytime but I really always want my readers to feel welcome. 😊 2018 is here, and I know during the new year a lot of people change up their hobbies, or look for new ways to get inspired!
I’m sharing three ways that can help you get inspired.
1. PHOTOGRAPHY Clearly, I know a lot of people know that photography can make you feel inspired. But the thing is, rarely do people act on it. If you are EVER in a slump, I encourage you to go out and take some pictures. It doesn’t have to be taken with some quality camera, it just has to be able to snap the photo. Observe nature, or capture a smile. There’s nothing like photography to get you full of happiness and inspiration.
2. WRITING People these days only write when they need to, like for work or school or something. But, you don’t have to make writing a chore. You can write funny stories that inspire you to create in your everyday life. Write down something you want to do in your life, something you hope to accomplish. There are endless possibilities available to inspire.
3. SINGING Okay I know this one is weird but I promise it works. There is nothing like singing to fill that rut you have. Turn up the music and sing your heart out to your favorite song. Really feel the lyrics, and understand what they mean to you. I swear by my heart you’ll be inspired to do great things, and totally happy by the time the song is over.
And that’s going to wrap up today’s blog post. Thank you so much for joining me, and for reading. Writing these in my free time has been nothing short of a blessing, and thank you for helping my blog grow. Flower community is the best community 🌸😊
Hi flowers 🌸 First off, I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR 💥 Welcome to 2018, and thanks for being a consistent community I can count on 😊
Today I want to share my winter morning routine.
7am: I’ve been trying to wake up at this time. I hate feeling like the day is wasted, and I would prefer to wake up happy with the sun. I have been trying to stay away from my phone during this time, and do a quick meditation.
7:30am: Usually, I make my way down to eat breakfast. Around this time, I’ll also scroll through social media or check my email to see what’s been going on. Also, I do my best to drink some tea. In the winter it’s so good and cozy. I love chamomile because it decreases my anxiety.
8-noon: This is a completely honest blog so to be perfectly honest during this time I just relax. Usually, I’ll lay around in my room in a cozy blanket, or watch youtube videos I’ve missed 😁 or catch up on the netflix series that I’ve started. For the winter season, I’m currently binging Grey’s Anatomy, and Gossip Girl. Then hopefully I eat something for lunch. 😂
That about wraps up my morning 😀 Not as productive as I want it to be, but it does give me time to gather myself before a hectic day does start. I’ve been trying to appreciate life a little more. I think we all could. 😊
Thanks for reading flowers. I’ll be posting regularly twice a week from now on.
Hi flowers 🌸 today I wanted to share my life in the form of pictures because I wanted to show a transformation of myself from the beginning of 2017 to the end 😊
The beginning of 2017 😃
I was pretty much my regular self. I had never made any spontaneous choices but I was happy. I loved food, and was going through college 😊
Middle of 2017
Right around the time I decided to cut my hair all the way down into a pixie. 🙂
End of 2017
The growth process began, and honestly I feel so much more relaxed. My anxiety is down a ton, and I feel my smile is genuine. 😁
Thanks for reading flowers 🌸 That’s all I got for this blog post. 😊 PS, I decided my new years goals are to relax more, focus on me, be more organized, and blog more 😃
